Charming retreat in Saint-Georges near Doué-en-Anjou

Need to recharge your batteries with friends or family? The Saint-Georges gîte is the perfect place! Ideally located in Saint Georges-sur-Layon, your stay will allow you to unwind to the sound of birdsong. Just 7 minutes from Doué-en-Anjou and its famous Bioparc, your stay will be an opportunity to explore the area's unique attractions: troglodyte villages, charming villages, the banks of the Loire, rose production, and tasting the many wine appellations (Layon, Saumur, Cabernet...).

The gîte comprises:

- On the ground floor: a living room with a wood-burning stove, lounge and dining room, a fully equipped and separate kitchen, and a laundry room with a washing machine, dryer, toilet, and sink. - Upstairs: a bedroom with a 140cm x 190cm bed and a 90cm x 190cm bed in an alcove (it's possible to add a safety barrier at the edge of the bed for children), a second bedroom with a 120cm x 190cm bed and a 100cm x 190cm bed, and a bathroom with shower and toilet.

From the kitchen and living room, you access a beautiful outdoor area with a terrace, part of which is covered by a covered courtyard, ideal for mild summer evenings. The 500m² garden, with a swing, is enclosed, allowing young children and pets to roam freely. A pond with goldfish, ducks, and carp will delight young and old alike. They are fed every morning by the owner.

Inside the property, parking for 2 to 3 vehicles is available, two of which are under a carport. No electric vehicle charging station.
There are four charging stations in Doué, Anjou - the closest is in the town center, at Place du Champ de Foire.

Included in the rental price: electricity, heating (electric), and a basket of wood logs. Bed linen and bathroom linen rentals and a cleaning service are optional.

You can easily visit the major cities of Anjou: Saumur (its château, the banks of the Loire, and the Armored Vehicle Museum) 30 minutes away, Angers (its Château des Ducs d'Anjou, its Saint-Maurice Cathedral, and the banks of the Maine) 40 minutes away, and Cholet 50 minutes away. Numerous activities are available nearby: visit the Doué-en-Anjou Zoo (7 minutes away), the Troglodyte Village Museum of Louresse-Rochemenier (10 minutes away), the Saumur Forest Adventure treetop adventure park (20 minutes away), or enjoy beautiful walks or bike rides along the Loire.
