The property is a 2 minute walk to the train station, handy for days out to Bridlington or to venture up the coast to Scarborough, where you can choose from a variety of attractions to enjoy your time, from the grand Georgian house at Sewerby Hall, with its flourishing gardens and zoo to the Bayle Museum and majestic Bridlington Priory.

Journey across to Flamborough Head with its sheer white cliffs jutting out into sea, where you can enjoy a lovely day out in the fresh coastal air in awe of the scenic landscape.

You also have the city of York and sandy beaches of Scarborough as well as a plethora of walking and cycling opportunities in the area.

This is a superb cottage in a fascinating region of Yorkshire.

The holiday home is modern, cosy and light. All on one level and everything east to hand. Itโ€™s conveniently located for exploring the Yorkshire Wolds, east coastal areas & York city centre too. Thereโ€™s a shed in the garden to accommodate bikes while cycling the local area.

Parking on the driveway for 2 cars and on roadside too if required. Train station down the road and regular bus service nearby. Ideal for coastal trips or York/Driffield.

The village of Nafferton is conveniently situated in the pretty countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds, yet only 2 miles from the market town of Driffield and 9 miles from the seaside resort of Bridlington.

A large village, with mainly traditional dwellings that cluster around the mere and village greens, it is served by three country pubs, a village shop, a post office and a fish and chip shop.

The railway station there is only 2 minutes walk away and extremely useful; only one stop to Bridlington and four to Scarborough! This is a lovely area for gentle walking, exploring the countryside and visiting stately homes and gardens such as Sledmere House and Burton Agnes Hall.

A short ride takes you to the popular east coast seaside resorts with their long sandy beaches, whilst the historical City of York, with its famous minster, is well worth a visit.
