Asked for a non smoking room. Strong smell of tobacco. Very off putting. Paint was the colour of nicotine which didn’t help. Cigarette burns on the edge of the tub.

You can see the outside around the door, the mattress was very uncomfortable and there was blood on the bathroom door frame!

The room was lovely. The onlu issue was that the temperature was 14 degrees when we got in and the heater didnt appear to have a fan so it took some time.to warm up and we had to ask for an extra blanket as there were none in the room.

Clean and quiet. I forgot some papers in my room and Andrea, the receptionist was kind enough to call me and let me know. I was too far away to come back. She copied and emailed me everything I needed. A big shout out to Andrea and the housekeeping staff for saving my bacon! Thank you!

The stay was fine. The hotel is showing its age. The bed was like a trampoline, quite uncomfortable but will do for a one night stopover. The bathroom has been updated recently. The staff at the desk was courteous but did not seem to know when the dining room closed. The best part of this stay was the restaurant on site, it was excellent.
