First, the apartment is in a very central location within easy walking distance of the Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. However, the unit faces the opposite side of the building, so you cannot see the fountains or the Burj from the room.
Location is everything here. Shopping, fine dining, and relaxing walks are all just steps from the front door, making it a great base for exploring Dubai.
The apartment itself was clean and comfortable. There were a few minor nit-pick items like a missing lampshade and some signs of wear from previous guests who may not have treated the place as if it were their own property, but nothing major.
Check-in was a bit frustrating. We stayed in contact with the host from the time we landed until we arrived at the tower, but it still took about another hour before we were actually inside the apartment.
Building maintenance could be improved. A coffee delivery spilled in the hallway between the elevator and our door and the mess remained there for three days. The garbage chute was taped shut and marked out of order, and the front desk did not provide an alternative for disposing of trash.
Overall, our stay was still very good. The balcony overlooking the neighborhood was great, and the proximity to the mall and Burj Khalifa makes this a great place to stay. I would stay here again—just know you are next to the landmarks but cannot see them from the apartment.
