Grand rooms with ample space. However there is no connection between Residence and hotel but all amenities like bathrooms, restaurants only available in hotel, need to walk there.

This is our favourite place to stay in Dubai. The hotel Is lovely. The Residence (adjacent to the main hotel) is ideal for families. We had a two bedroom apartment which had loads of space for us. Kitchen was ideal and the washing/ drying facilities were really handy. Only negative was the Indian restaurant. The staff are friendly and the setting is great but the food was disappointing especially for the price. Apart from that it was, as usual, a great few days.
