Room was a good size. Aircon very good. TV was ok but a lot of interference on channels? Bathroom ok. Communal area for microwave & basic kitchen equipment. Upstairs from Hotel/ Pub but no noise in our room. Menu in room for hotel restaurant. Old hotel but seemed clean enough. Hole behind door in room from door handle? Otherwise suitable for a night or 2 while travelling.

Secure parking provided and easy walking distance to CBD was a small plus. Little maintenance and cleaning done, shower heads leaked, power point hanging off the wall, walls in room not washed, thick dust in corners of room (myself and the guy in the next room never stopped sneezing) torn blind, window sill used as a ashtray and rubbish tip. The downstairs reeked of stale cigarette smoke, all the doors squeak incessantly all the time and constant banging of doors. If this is ok with you for $75 a night that's fine, but there are many better accomodation options in Dubbo for a little bit extra cash.

I know it’s not normal but there was a large function who were having dinner. The kitchen staff tried hard but it was fairly late until I got my curry which by the way was delicious
