This is not a hotel and the rooms are not suitable for two people. This is effectively a single student room with an en-suite and a shared kitchen living room. It is a pod of four rooms which share the communal area. There were shoes outside the door of adjacent rooms. The receptionist was unhelpful. You had to ‘borrow’ toilet paper and toiletries from reception and only knew this by reading a notice on the reception desk. There was no air con and when opening the window there was little air but plenty of noise from the adjacent road. The bed was not big enough for two adults and the balance of the room hardly large enough to place luggage. We dropped our bags and immediately hunted for another hotel. We got the last room in Dublin for the weekend. We were in the room minutes. Do not think this is a hotel or an apartment. It is not. Despite charging hotel prices. After sales is non existent. It was convenient in location. Nothing more than a shambolic exaggeration of the facts. Wong advertised and sold as a 3 Star hotel!!!! Where were the facilities?

Was convenient for a quick one night stay but the room looked like the bathroom hadn't been cleaned since the student moved out. Except the toilet was clean and at least there was a half roll of toilet roll. No facilities in the room, no decor. Bedding was clean but the headboard around the bed was sticky and dirty. While I entered the room upon check in to leave the bag. I discovered the issues too late in the night to go to reception. Reception staff however were nice and said they would have moved me. And there is 24 hr reception.

Bare essentials

For one seventy five a night, this was disappointing. My room was very hot and since there was no phone in the room I had to go all the way back down to the office to ask how to turn the air conditioner on…which they informed me there “was NO AIR conditioner, open the window.” The room had no air, no TV and my sink was stopped up with dirty water. The bathroom was dirty and cobwebs all over the window. The staff was young, foreign and not very helpful or polite. When I checked out the next morning I asked if they would call me a taxi, and the girl said download an app. I said, seriously, im leaving for the airport I’ll never use this app again, finally the other BOY said we can try. They acted totally lost. Im not picking on foreigners but you had an Indian, a Mexican and a girl from Costa Rica. It would be nice to at least have a local to help recommend things. I do not recommend this place

Basically repurposed student accommodation - which would be okay, if I did not have to pay so much for one night for a lack of staff manning the counter in the morning + bedsheets being unchanged at check-in (we had to change it ourselves). Decent location but not much else.

The staff is VERY VERY nice (Omkar especially). They look after your every need. However, it is a STUDENT dorm/accommodation - so temper your expectations accordingly (e.g. room size and amenities). The room is small. The room needs a deep clean and cleaner bed sheets. Great water pressure! No AC, but the staff can give you a portable fan, or you can open the window. They do have soap, shampoo and TP, but you have to ask for it. Staff is really friendly and very helpful

Very disappointing.

Very small bed barely fit for 2 persons, no toiletries, and room was a heat trap in sunny weather - 28*in the room at night and couldnt open the windows due to the noise outside! And £224 for one night room only. Dublin now provides worst value in Europe.

Staff was friendly, room was fairly bare bones. We had the bad luck of traveling during an Irish heat wave so we had to keep the window open and the street was tremendously loud. No fault of the facility. Available kitchen was clean. Bathroom was a decent size for a city center. Location was good and price was appropriate for the lack of creature comforts. Only concern with cleanliness was a splatter on the wall which could have been old blood or coffee, but the linens and bathroom were clean.

I hope travelers know what this is when they book this place. Obviously I wasn’t aware when I book this. This is an apartment complex for University students during the school year and it turns itself into a “hotel” (note the quotation) in the summer. The facility and room layout are exactly a student dormitory. I reserved a room for two of us, the size of the bed is between a twin bed and a full size bed with two flat pillows. There is no air conditioning and they have limited fans to give out. We did not get one. There was no shampoo and shower gel installed in the bathroom, no TV, no room service, no room cleaning and no change of towels. The bathroom sink was heavily clogged and we could see hair all the way down, shutting down the draining. We stopped using the sink during the stay, and pretended it didn’t exist. The shower was weak although the water was hot. There is also some drainage issue in the shower. I’m guessing they didn’t unclog them before they turn it into “hotel” condition. Last thing I want to remind potential bookers is that they charge the same rate as a Marriott hotel. It was $250 approximately per night. I stayed in Marriott in Glasgow for less than $200.

I get that this is student housing but if you’re going to use it for a hotel in the summer months step up your game. There was no soap at all, no hand towel(s) either. We just stayed in another student housing place in Galway and they actually adjusted to be more like a hotel making sure we had at least the bare minimum. If you can’t supply the essentials maybe don’t act as a hotel in the summer.
