Enjoy this home right on Claytor Lake. A double decker dock, waterside fire pit, and gas grill make this is the perfect house for a family get away or a couple's retreat! Located conveniently close to the Claytor Lake State park, spend the day at the Claytor Lake State Park beach, grab some food, or rent a boat (motorized or other). Sit out on the dock and enjoy breathtaking views of the lake or swim in the wake free, deep water cove. Biking and walking trails are on the New River Trail (15 minutes away). Easy to moderate walking trails of various lengths ranging from 1-3 miles only 3 minutes away. A public access boat ramp is only 3 minutes away as well. The home sleeps up to 8 guests with three bedrooms and a pull out queen sleeper sofa in the living room. There are 2 queen and 1 king bed with new Casper mattresses. In spring of 2024, this home was renovated throughout the interior with new flooring, paint, new kitchen and bathrooms and new furniture. The following are accessible by driving: Claytor Lake State Park 5 minutes, Falls State Park 35 minutes, The Draper Village/New River Trail 15 minutes, Radford University 15 minutes, Virginia Tech 25 minutes, Chateau Morrisette 1 hour, The Cascades 1 hour. This was a beautiful, clean, newly renovated lake house and our family enjoyed every minute of our stay. The host was extremely responsive and recommended restaurants for us that we enjoyed. The fall leaves were in HOKIE colors and the walks we took were beautiful. A very relaxing and fun stay for our family
