I really wanted to love this hotel. Good location with plenty nearby, a Tesco right next door and good transport links. The hotel has a trendy modern vibe and one of the best showers I’ve used in a hotel. However my stay was ruined by the automated lock randomly starting to make a loud screaming sound at 5am on the first night. I raised this as the front desk and showed a video of the sound. Hearing this suddenly happen in the early hours of the morning was terrifying making it sound as though someone was trying to gain access to the room and I couldn’t sleep again after that. The next day the front desk manager was really apologetic and offered two drinks vouchers which was appreciated, saying they’d had an engineer look at it and there was no issue with the lock. On the third night however, it happened again. 2 out of 3 nights disrupted by this meaning I was exhausted the following days at work. When I raised the fact that it had happened again at checkout I was offered an apology but that was it. Unfortunately ruined what could have been a great stay.

Super friendly check in. Perfectly formed room with powerful rainwater shower, Nespresso machine, Dyson hairdryer, cute little Smeg fridge, spare charging cables to use, USB port on all the sockets - plus the a socket by the bed for phone charging which I find a lot of hotels don’t have. They really thought of everything!! The staff in the bar downstairs were friendly and efficient - I loved the food I ordered. I was on the first floor above the bar but never heard a thing - slept all night. The whole place was beautifully finished, really well thought out and looks amazing. There’s great value and a lovely time to be had at this hotel - and it’s just 10 minutes from Stephens Green. Far superior to the hotels in the city centre that I usually stay in that are much more expensive. I will happily stay at this beautiful property again.
