It was a clean apartment with a nice view. Appreciated the access to the rooftop terrace, which had beautiful views of all of old town. The hot water heater couldn’t keep up with the family of four and it took a long time to heat up. We all showered in the first bathroom with the tub because in the second bathroom, the whole floor was covered in water because the handle didn’t have a holder. The handle just sat on top of the hot cold knobs which if you touched the hot water pipe it burnt you. This property is pretty high up. It was a total of 331 stairs straight up from the Polce gate of Old Town to the property. We did it twice a day. Access to a grocery store is at the bottom by Old Town so groceries had to be hike up all those stairs, which is hard enough just to get yourself up! Traveling with teens and young adults they tend to sleep in. It would’ve been nice to have some basic staples like coffee, bread, eggs maybe fresh fruit because the access to food was not easy from the apartment.

Family getaway

The apartment was perfect for us. The kitchen had all that we needed to prepare simple breakfast and the terrace was perfect to sit and play cards and talk at night. The view was a bit obstructed from the porch but perfect when outside. Everything was very clean and they were so kind to let us leave our luggage early and late so we could enjoy time in Old Town before check in and after check out. It was very easy to communicate with owner. There are many many steps up to the apartment from the Main Street/Old Town. We enjoyed the exercise and got dessert every day so we did not mind! I think we counted 430 stairsteps to the street.. but it’s a beautiful climb up or down. Thank you for hosting us- we loved the place, the view, the town, the hospitality, and we would love to come back!!!

Great property for a family. Close to old town and gondola but be ready to climb some stairs!:). Apartment is very comfortable and clean. Very helpful owner and family. Let us drop luggage early before check in time.
