Apartment was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. Being in apartment 2 with other rooms above you could hear people walking around above which sometimes woke me. Room 2 is also next to the front door, which is noisy when people enter/leave. Location is fantastic, in the heart of Dubrovnik Old Town. Lots of street stairs to get to the apartment, but that is to be expected in the old town. Reasonably priced so would recommend.

I would have scored the property higher if a few small things were addressed, such as more information regarding how to use the facilities (e.g. Turning the hot water service on before a shower!), and if they bought new pillows and towels. It felt like I was drying myself with a 20 year old tea towel and sleeping on a pillow stuffed with socks. It's a good location and the apartment is a great size.

Apartment was a nice size with a separate bedroom. Besides a small cooktop and refrigerator, there was a clothes washing machine(but no detergent), kettle and microwave. Other reviews meant we were well aware of the stairs leading to the property so no surprises there.

Good location near all Old City sites. Comfortable lodgings; very clean and well laid out plus secure internet. All facilities provided but would suggest two more cups/mugs plus at least two glasses in cupboard.

We Loved The Location

The apartment was located closer [but still several steps down] to the top of the steps. It was very clean. The water pressure was excellent. The water heater would run out of hot water ... so my suggestion is to wet down, soap up, and then rinse off ... and then there was plenty of hot water. Pack light. You will definitely get your daily steps in seeing the sites of Dubrovnik.

Excellent location. About as close to all the activity as can be and yet a quiet space at night. Cozy space - but certainly enough room for a couple. Definitely some stairs to climb - bear that mind if you have issues or really heavy luggage. I'd gladly stay here again.

It was great! Bed was comfortable, I did wish the sheets were bigger though. It was in a really convenient area and I loved the early check in!! I’d absolutely reccomend.

Great perfect location. Has everything you need. Super great host and clear easy instructions and communication. Be aware of steps in old town to get to apartment they are high and plentiful. Also ration your hot water and watch the tank meter.

This lovely apartment is right in the historical part of Dubrovnik old town. It really had the atmosphere of "living in" a world heritage site. A short distant from the main street up some pretty steep steps. Adjacent to a wonderful narrow street lined with local restaurants and bars. I would certainly recommend with the caveat that you have to be mobile and fit enough to cope with the steep steps (if not Dubrovnik may not be the place for you anyway, there are steep steps almost everywhere!) The steps are also part of the experience. With no gardens people (and Dubrovnik's famous cats) seem to spend some of the day sitting out on the steps with a coffee deep in conversation. It's a wonderful way to escape some of the daytime heat. I would book this apartment again.

The place is strategic enough that we cant complaint at all. Getting to the place can be easier via Buza Gate. Coming from Pile gate maybe tougher :) Backpack is highly recommended unless you want to feel the challenge in bringing up your big luggage :p House can be better if the house odour is eliminated and sticky flooring. Other than that, everything was perfect and we will still recommend this place if you are visiting Dubrovnik!

Great stay

Amazing apartment right in the old town. Yes, you need to go up a few steps but the views down to the street below are great. One minus though, the shower was fixed with a cable tie making it impossible to stand underneath as it was moving down constantly.

This was a lovely place for two people for a few days in Dubrovnik. The only downside, and it may be a significant one, it that it is up steep stairs.

This property is very basic. Two light bulbs went while I was there. There was only one toilet roll so I had to buy more. It was damp. There was the beginning of black mould on the walls, the bedding and eventually my clothes became damp. On the upside it was right in the centre of the old walled city. A minutes walk from cafes, bars and the most beautiful beaches and busy Medieval city. It is also located up a very steep flight of ancient steps. Be prepared to carry your luggage up these steps. Make sure you know where the apartment is before you start walking as you don't want to be walking up and down more than you need to. You will die of a heat attack!!!

It was good for sleeping, quite small but we were out and about all day! There’s a million stairs so beware. Also, the recommended parking is EXTREMELY expensive so I suggest Dubrovnik city parking and making the 30 minute walk or catch a taxi. The AC unit is small but efficient for the sleeping area. The cleanliness was poor and I found a used ear swab on the nightstand as well as hairs in the bedding. But, we made do and it’s in a prime spot for dining and Old Town adventures.
