Great location to old town with amazing views
Rooms Raic was a pleasant accommodation for our 2 nights in Dubrovnik. It’s a 15 minute walk from old town with incredible, unobstructed views of Lokrum Island and old town. The balcony was shared but spacious and the perfect place to watch the sunset with a glass of wine! Our room was clean and a good size. The sunlight was awesome! There was a small kitchenette and dining table in our room as well as a larger shared kitchen and dining area downstairs. WiFi worked great and the host was pleasant. There were a few downsides, however. Showering was difficult since the hot water ran out in seconds. The bed was a bit uncomfortable. Also, this property is managed by a third party company which made communication difficult and check in was not smooth. I updated my check in time on the email communication they sent but the door was locked when I arrived and I had to contact Direct Booker on WhatsApp since they don’t reply to VRBO messages. They quickly contacted the host and luckily she lived downstairs and was home to let us in promptly. Not having direct communication with the host made our experience a little more challenging. She was very nice though and we appreciated her letting us leave our luggage after check out for a few hours. Also note that there’s almost 200 steps to reach the apartment from the main road. I don’t recommend this place if you can’t climb stairs. Overall a good place to stay in Dubrovnik though.
