The shower head didn't work properly, and would make a river out the bathroom door. It was noisy, hearing people talk in the hall and closing doors. I think better door on the room may help. Bed was very uncomfortable. Coffee table had piece broken off. Pretty much nonstop noise of water, like any time any room used water we heard it. I felt bad, i booked the room and my guy was miserable there!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is older and could use some updates. The mattress was very hard and the pillows were lumpy. Weekend breakfast was a hot breakfast which was adequate, the counters needed to be wiped off. The room was clean and the heat worked well. The hotel is close to Canal Park which is a plus.

The check in guy was great! So nice to see a smile. Room was clean, although a little warm. It was quiet to be able to sleep. A little pricey for the amenities but it was ok.

The bed was the noisiest we’ve ever “slept” on. We didn’t really sleep much because every time we moved even slightly it made all kinds of weird sounds. To their credit, the manager did refund about half the cost.

The check in process was easy, staff friendly. For a Days Inn we were charged more than double the standard rate. I understand peak bookings but this was MORE than excessive for the quality of the room. $300+ dor a room!!

The staff at front desk were great and friendly. The room was very nice but not much of a lake view. The breakfast needs some work. Not much to offer. They had nothing warm to eat. The parking was ok.

There was a dog that barked at 2am and 4:30 am. Could here a baby crying at 11:30 pm. No Mat in the shower little shampoo no conditioner.

Staff was friendly upon check in, but no one at front desk when we checked out, so was unable to get a receipt. It's called lake walk, but it is about a 10 minute walk to the lake walk.

Building is very dated and feels a bit dingy, but room was clean and bed was comfortable. The one employee I interacted with was friendly. Breakfast and amenities are limited. I only chose this hotel because the hotel I usually stay at was unavailable. I had a nice enough stay, but wouldn't choose to stay here again unless it was all that was available.

Our room was clean and spacious. Refrigerator and microwave worked well. We had a pretty good view of lake superior and weren't that far from the lakewalk. There was nothing hot for breakfast options but did have cereal-bagels-muffins and yogurt. We enjoyed our stay.
