Too much noise every night like elephants running around, wasn’t a pleasant stay at all. The room is very outdated, I thought the dishwasher was like a big truck taking off. Maybe new appliances would be nice, not trying to be mean but this will make you improve some of the things to provide better stay n better service. The staff were amazing. The pool n hot tub was amazing until rowdy kids came n started horseing around n we had to leave. The gym was very nice.
The view from the resort overlooking Lake Superior was the best part of the stay.

Hotel is using electronic door systems with passcodes that don’t work. Got locked out of our room multiple times and had to wait for maintenance or get a new code. TV didn’t work in our room. Struggle because it was a beautiful location and the rooms were good for the most part. We also found beer cans behind the TV stand when trying to get the tv to work… so how well was it cleaned.

the staff was super friendly, and the restaurant was great. The room itself was exactly what we were looking for. The only reason it was not 5 stars is because it seems that although the website boasts free nordic ski rentals, when we asked the front desk about it, they had no idea what we were talking about and said that they did not have it.

The property is equal parts upscale & Minnesota charming, with its smores kits, rock painting & fire pits. The woman working the desk was informative, the parking convenient to our room, and the fireplace welcoming. As someone who does a lot of fine dining in cities across the country, the restaurant was unexpected in its elegant decor, fantastic view, great food & wine list. There was minimal staff, as we were there mid-week, but we never felt neglected.

This is our first time staying there. We went with my daughter and two grandkids. The kids swam for hours while we used the outdoor hot tub. Our condo had a great view of LakeSuperior. It was clean and the staff was very friendly.

We came for a weekend stay. I brought family to enjoy the resort while I was doing some volunteer work nearby. When we checked in, they put us in a completely different room type than we booked. It was old and run down with a lot of wall damage, holes in the shower surround poorly filled with caulking, a pedestal sink in a tiny bathroom, and two full-size beds. They said the unit we booked had been “sold”. It took me a while to understand they actually had sold the condo we had reserved that day. And they didn’t have anything else comparable for us. I asked to have a manager follow up, and by noon the next day they still hadn’t. We got a refund and left the property. We found a nice cabin at Great Superior Lodge. It was much better! I would strongly advise staying away from the very tired Superior Shores Resort.
