Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
Host chose not to honor my reservation and stated that VRBO said I was a high risk. Host also made it clear he had the right to deny anyone. I have a 5 star review. I have rented many places all over the east coast. And never been turned away. This nearly disrupted the plans we had for the weekend, where we spent Hundreds of dollars on the local wineries and the wind mill. Thankfully, VRBO RETURNED our money and discounted the place we did stay at. which was directly a crossed the lake from this place. I come to the area frequently to visit family. I am always looking for a place to stay while in the area. I have certainly removed this one from my favorites. I normally do not give bad reviews, I am a pretty positive person. But this was un called for leaving me feeling like I had done something wrong. STOP JUDGING A BOOK BY ITS COVER. The ending can always be the truth of the story. Thank you VRBO for making the situation better as fast as you did.

The home was as listed, beautifully decorated and clean. Our host was very kind and responsive. We very much enjoyed our stay and definitely would rent this place again in the future.
