The kitchen, back porch, and views made this property for the 6 adults. The kitchen easily accommodated 6 adults cooking and the kids running in and out. The kitchen and pantry were fully stocked. Everything you could possibly need was present and clearly labeled which really helped with the kitchen being so large.I also personally loved the elegance of the large fireplaces. They truly added a majestic feel to the home.The pickle ball court made this property for the 6 kiddos. We had a wonderful stay and plan to be back. Thank you for hosting us!! Well done on providing for your guests.

Absolutely Amazing!

I absolutely loved this house and will come back for sure. It has a magnificent view of the mountains. The house is spacious and has been decorated with unbelievable taste. The game room was a hit for kids and adults and every space of the house was simply wonderful. Perhaps the kitchen is the biggest highlight with the outdoor terrace. Truth be told, we enjoyed every corner of this house and will come back to enjoy it for a longer stay.

Spacious and comfortable with gourmet kitchen

Spacious beautiful home overlooking the valley. Large comfortable rooms and porches to visit with family. Gourmet kitchen with more than adequate cookware, spices, and condiments available. Plenty of linens and shampoo/soap in the bathrooms. Narrow mountain road to the property off the main highway, but not too rough or curvy like other places I’ve visited. The location was convenient for a larger family event we were attending. Would definitely book again. If you’re looking for a relaxing mountain getaway, this is it.

Better than expected

Our group of 12 adults had an unforgettable trip in May at this gorgeous house, with beautiful views. The housing accommodations were even better than expected. Every space in the house felt cozy and welcoming. The property manager was kind, easy to communicate with and very quick to help with questions. Our group wished we had booked a longer stay! We hope to come back.

Exceeds Expectations!

Ataraxy absolutely lived up to its pictures and promises. Donna was warm, welcoming, and made sure we felt right at home with her Southern hospitality. She was available for any questions we had. If you are wondering about anything, please reach out to Donna. She is so proud of her home and you can tell she is so excited to share its joy with others! Donna's home is beautiful and she has thought of everything. It is spacious and equipped with high end furnishings. Even if you're staying in a large group, there is plenty of space to "get away" for some quiet alone time. The adults especially loved the comfort, views, and gourmet kitchen. The kids loved hide n seek, the game room, and a place they could all sleep together. This home is nestled in gorgeous Sequachie Valley centrally located near many fabulous hiking spots and natural/historic sights. It was a tough balance between getting out to see the local beauty and wanting to stay in to enjoy Donna's impressive home. LOL. We would stay again without hesitation!

Fabulous Home for a Family Getaway!

What a beautiful home for our family to celebrate Christmas! Donna is an amazing host. She walked us through the house so we would know where everything was located and even had special treats and coffees for us when we arrived. The kitchen is a chef’s dream and is stocked with everything needed to host a huge Christmas dinner! The location is nice and quiet with a beautiful of view of the mountains. There is ample space for a large family to spread out and relax (our group had 8 adults and 3 kids who range in ages from 1-10 years old). There are tons of games and puzzles to keep everyone happy and the beds are extremely comfortable! I can’t say enough great things about this home or the host! We will definitely book again!

Fabulous Thanksgiving holiday!

Our family gathered here for Thanksgiving - what an amazing setting and gorgeous house! The owners have thought of everything - you will not need to bring a thing. Absolutely beautiful home with lots of space for your group to spread out and enjoy the spectacular views. We spent one morning on the back porch (complete with gas fire pit) enjoying our coffee and watching the mist rise out of the valley as the sun came up. It was beyond relaxing. Highly recommend this property - we will be back!
