Originally a 19th-century chapel, this property has been lovingly restored. Step inside, and you’ll be greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The open-plan living area is the heart of the chapel, featuring high vaulted ceilings with exposed wooden beams, casting a rustic charm over the space.

The modern, fully-equipped kitchen seamlessly integrates into the space. The adjacent dining area boasts intimate table and chairs, providing a lovely spot to soak in the unique surroundings. The bedroom, located up the spiral stairs, is a sanctuary of comfort. Outside, the chapel offers a garden, the perfect spot for listening to the sounds of nature. The surrounding area is a haven for walkers and cyclists, with scenic trails leading through the picturesque Essex countryside.

Explore the nearby historic towns of Saffron Walden and Thaxted. A visit to Stansted Mountfitchet castle is a great day out. For a bit of culture why not visit the Henry Moore studios and gardens. Bridge End Gardens will not disappoint. Check out Audley Manor where you will be able to see outdoor concerts in the summer. The nearby town of Bishop Stortford has an array of shops and eateries. If you fancy a day trip to the coast pop along to Mersea Island, check the tide times as this quirky place gets cut off by high tide.
