Kitchen area: Electric Oven, Gas Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Coffee Machine. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Back garden with courtyard, sitting out area, garden furniture and barbecue (on request). Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are 9 steps in the garden. No children under 5 years old.. Hillcrest Cottage, a charming 4-star holiday retreat, was originally built in 1888 and has been recently renovated to an exceptional standard. The master bedroom, is adorned with stunning views over the meeting point of the four lochs, the River Clyde, Holy Loch, Loch Long, and Gare Loch. The room is bathed in natural light, and its serene setting is perfect for a restful night’s sleep. Adjacent to the bedrooms is a modern shower room. There is also a private balcony.
Upstairs, the space opens into a spacious, open-plan living area. The dining kitchen is fully equipped, while the lounge area, complete with a gas wood-burning stove, offers a cosy space to unwind after a day of exploration. The pièce de resistance is the stunning picture window, framing breathtaking views of the Lochs and the surrounding countryside, offering guests a truly unique perspective of the natural beauty in the area. If you’re looking to venture further afield, the picturesque Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park is just a short drive away, offering hiking, boating, and wildlife spotting opportunities as is the towns of Inverary and Oban where you can escape for the day to the Isles of Mull, Iona and Staffa.
