Nursery Cottage is an ideal base to explore the Cowal Peninsula, and the many surrounding attractions, with Benmore Botanic Gardens and magical Pucks Glen on your doorstep. The area is one big outdoor playground; take your pick from walking, cycling, sailing, fishing, golfing, windsurfing and more. Explore further afield to Loch Lomond, Argyll’s Secret Coast, take the ferry to the Isle of Bute to visit Mount Stuart, or visit historic Inveraray. It’s also an easy day trip to Oban, one of the seafood capitals of Scotland. Glasgow is just over an hour away via the Western Ferries or two hours by road via Loch Lomond.
