Downtown Durango Luxury Rental with parking

This one-bedroom luxury apartment was built in 2004 and is above a garage which is adjacent to a 1911 historic building on Main Street in the central downtown of Durango, Colorado. The apartment was completely remodeled in the Summer of 2017. The apartment is beautifully furnished and has a 32 inch Sony flat screen with all channels of satellite on DirecTV streaming with apple tv. The linens are exquisite, as are all the other amenities. Although, there are stairs up to the apartment, it is a romantic and secluded space which travelers will return to year after year. I am sorry but we don't rent with small children, and rarely (if approved first) to adult children, because of their impact on the space and the significant deep cleaning which results from their impact.

Durango is one of the greatest towns in America, and it has numerous recreational activity and wonderful people. The restaurants and downtown activity are just outside your door. The apartment is located in the downtown district. There is a parking space off of Main Street for your exclusive use only one-half block from your VRBO and directly across from Carvers Brewing and restaurant in a well lit parking lot. Everyone that has stayed here, has stated they would return. It is a jewel and is one of the nicest places downtown, especially considering all the amenities.

We had such a great time visiting Durango, and Bobby’s VRBO made it even better. Located right in downtown, its convenience meant we were able to optimize our time even better. The space was clean and welcoming, and the amenities were generous. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great location, very nice setup. Can get loud on the weekend evenings until late due to bar next door. (Was fine on a Friday but Saturday we had to dig for earplugs to block it) Make SURE you dont park in the spot across the street on the second Saturday of the month as we walked down early with our ‘lake bags’ pack and nope, completely blocked in until 2pm. Would have been nice to know this as there is free parking after 5 all around the building and we would not have lost a day. Solid location with a good host. Would recommend 100% with the caveats listed above.

We stayed for an extended weekend during the summer and the downtown location was perfect. We happened to meet the host while arriving and they were very helpful and pleasant. Excellent ammenities and facilities. Really appreciated the AC to beat the summer heat. We had a great time and would definitely stay again! 100% recommended.

Great Stay in Downtown Durango

We had a great stay in downtown Durango. So many things were within easy walking distance, including shops, restaurants and the train station. It was very well equipped with a washer/dryer, a well stocked kitchen and an air conditioner which was very important during the summer.

Great Location

Wonderful stay within steps of Main St. Accessed off the alley, the second floor unit is cozy and comfortable. There are two small balconies that we did not utilize because of significant bird droppings. Unit was clean and well stocked. I enjoyed being able to go on a 4 mile hike/walk from the unit and not needing my car. The Rim Trail is accessed 6 blocks up the hill. Great stay! Host allied us slightly early check in.

The apartment was really close to everything, very clean, and well maintained. The host was very friendly and accommodating. The only reason I’m not rating it 5 stars is that the bed was very uncomfortable. Other than that, it was wonderful.

This place is in a perfect location for walking around downtown Durango for shopping and dining at the local restaurants. It had everything we needed and was super convenient for our stay. The place was immaculate, and the directions were very accurate. Our only complaint would be the noise from the local brewery on the weekend late nights which was no fault of the owner.

Perfect Location

The location is great! We could go out and explore all day then come home and walk around downtown Durango. The host is very responsive to any questions. Easy to unload our car from the alley, and then there are good directions to the parking spot.

Location relative to everything you would need is ideal, and you can walk to most everything. Unit has everything you would want or need for a comfortable stay. We rented E-bikes from 2 blocks away and biked the Animas river trail for half a day. Highly recommend! Condo is half a block from the main downtown Durango happenings, so there is no escaping the bar noise and train noise. Entryway is through an alley with no parking right at the condo. However, a designated parking spot is a block away, and loading and unloading can be done right at the condo. Host’s communication is top notch.
