Self check in was easy and there was Someone that greeted us to let us know to call if we needed anything. The couch was cozy with a nice throw blanket and I loved the little gas fireplace.

I'm afraid I don't think I would stay here again. The room was clean, the hotel well located and hosts were friendly and available. A few things of note. The room is very small, no desk, just enough space to walk around the bed a tiny corner table. When we arrived there were earplugs on the bed with a note saying we might need them due to 'the historic nature of the hotel' and indeed the walls were very thin, we could hear everything in the hallways and the room next door (which had 3 small children). Using earplugs when you are traveling with someone is not really an option:) Finally, the bathroom was ridiculously small, no counter to put your toiletries on - not enough space for a small person to be comfortable.

Room was clean and cozy. Perfect location! So close to everything! We came for our anniversary, and left our kids and dogs at home. It was a little disappointing to have the doors sooooo thin we could hear a baby crying and yelling and dogs constant whining and barking a couple rooms down, that awoke us very early and lasted for hours. They did have ear plugs, however it was much too loud to block out. Not everyone sleeps in,but we like to. Kids are understandable , but with that poor of noise reduction, dogs should absolutely be reconsidered. However, room was cute, fridge was big, they had a microwave. Nice touch to have cold filtered water in the fridge! Bed was firm but comfortable.

Wonderful place to stay. Right in town Easy walk to many good restaurants. Easy walk to the Durango to Silverton train station. Has own private parking. Very clean with separate living, kitchen and bedroom. Kitchen is full furnished. We will definitely be back!!!

This is a nice enough hotel, but not worth the cost. While it is hard to find a reasonably priced hotel in Durango, CO, this place is just contributing to the problem. It is not that nice a place!

For us, it was a last minute, lets get out of town weekend! while on our travels through Expedia, we found Leland house! What a gem! clean safe easy readily accessible to food literally right next door! It was a 5 minute walk to the strip and train station ( which we did, also amazing). We highly recommend The Leland House and will definitely be back again!!!
