Everything was fine except the TV in the room would not turn on. We called the front desk and got the excuse of “ there was lightning and it affected some TVs in some rooms. “ I told my husband that I have read a review which mentioned that with this hotel. The weather was perfect that day. No rain. No thunderstorm. It was a ‘very quiet’ hotel stay, to say the least. Room 205. Guess that’s always an excuse but it makes a big difference with a hotel stay especially if the customer is used to having TV on to relax. Positive comment? The fridge in the room is bigger in size than the usual.
There were NO downstairs rooms available and NO elevators. I was told the room that was reserved for me had no working television.. I left trying to find other lodgings would not recommend to any of my family or friends.
I was informed the day off my stay that there was no cable, only streaming. They were nice enough to give me a courtesy call. Thank you for that. Other than that, the front receptionist was very pleasant & informative.
We arrived to find out that due to a lightning strike, they had no TV or Internet. They also couldn't program room keys, so they would have to let us in the room every time we left. They authorized a refund, but of course, there's no way to reach a human being when you call the hotels.com phone number to have them cancel. I had to book a different hotel through another service. I've spent a lot of money with hotels.com, but that's going to change if I can't reach anyone other than a robot to resolve issues. $200 gone
The room had a weird smell as soon as we enter. And when we went to bed the bedding was damp, musty like. The next morning i picked up my clothing of the corner of the bed just across from the ac and my jeans had wet spots and my under garments were damp. Floor was filthy,(i had new white socks and put them on and they were very dirty after 15 minutes of walking around in the room.
customers need to be considerate staying on above levels and not walk hard like stampedes or be running back and forth in rooms and hallways, especially children, etc. When repeated back and forth, very disturbing.
