Really lovely working farm. Room was spacious, bed linen superb and bathroom recently done with wonderful facilities. Highly recommend staying there, although do ask them for directions as their sign is so low at ground level you can drive past it on the Durham Road numerous times before finding it, especially if it is dark!

Wonderful stay

Pros: Lovely and peaceful with extensive grounds to explore. Very homely atmosphere. Excellent home cooked breakfast. Christine is an excellent host.
Cons: Nothing everything is excellent
Location: A few miles from Durham with lots of things to do. Also Beamish museum not far away
I have stayed at Burnhopeside Hall 3 times now and each time it has been wonderful. Christine is a lovely host and makes you feel most welcome. Everything is always top class and the rooms and beautifully furnished. Excellent. We will be returning.
