Relax with the family in a lakefront cottage on Haas/Paradise Lake 5 min drive from Haliburton, sitting on a large deck overlooking the beautiful Paradise Lake.
Open concept kitchen, dining and living room provides the ultimate gathering area.
Enjoy the day on the lake while swimming, boating, fishing ,warming from wood fire pit (firepit wood not provided). Enjoy Amazing sunset views in the lake from your Dock And from Deck & living room as well as Master Bedroom & Dining room .All winter activities are very close.
Emergency Generator in case of power outage.
The space
This Lakefront picture-perfect 4-season cottage (Can sleep +/- 10) features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 living/family rooms, a large deck overlooking the water, and a fire pit.
3 large bedrooms on two levels. On the main floor, the master has a queen bed, Futon (Sofa Bed) . The second has a queen bed and a Futon. On the lower level, the third bedroom has one double & one Twin bed in it.
Lower-level large living/family room has one twin bed & bunk bed (double/single combination) along with sofa sets & TV. In addition, we have two extra mattresses.
There are 2 Bathrooms in the main floor. 1 - 4pc (sink, toilet, bath shower), 2- 4pc main (sink, toilet, bathtub). The kitchen is open to the living room. There is a separate dining area. Well equipped with all required appliances: fridge/freezer, electric stove/oven, dishwasher, and microwave, Island with seating.
Smart T.V, Wi-Fi unlimited internet. fireplace, a Walkout to the BBQ porch & Firepit.
A large deck overlooking the lake. Lower-level table tennis, smart TV.
Firepit, dock, kayak, canoe, pedal boat, Jon boat.

And you have emergency Generator on in few secs in case of power outage to make your stay comfortable.

Skating on the lake is at your own risk, please check to make sure it's safe!

Please note: this is a family friendly cottage. Parties and loud groups will not be permitted. Also there are no safety barriers to keep young children away from the water.

2. We do not supply fishing rods, snowmobiles, sea-doo, and skating equipment, so, please bring your own.

Note: Cottage country witnesses a lot of snow and there can be ice build up on the driveway. As per the house rules guests acknowledge responsibility for their own actions and will not hold any of the owners of the cottage responsible for any injury due to slipping on the driveway.

Great spot

Enjoyed our time, location is great and inside was as advertised. Exterior could have used a little bit of work. Grass was long, weedy and the deck overall was a little dirty.

We recently stayed 3 nights at this cottage, and the location was excellent. The cottage was located less than 10 mins from downtown Haliburton which was very convenient. The cottage was also very easy to find as it was just minutes off of the main road. You can see and hear the main highway from the beach area, although it didn't bother us, it was worth noting. The cottage was large and very spacious!We found the cottage overall could have been cleaned better. There was crumbs/sand on most of the floors when we arrived, a large amount of dust was covering the blinds on the windows etc. The cottage also didn't smell overly clean, as there was an odour to it that resembled cigarette smoke. The kitchen had most of your basics, although there was only 1 roll of paper towel provided, and no kitchen towels could be found. This makes it rather difficult to keep the cottage clean. The outside of the cottage could also use some attention. The grass in the front yard seemed to be recently cut, however the backyard did not seem to have been cut, and the yard is pretty overgrown with weeds and lacking basic landscaping. The beach area was covered in weeds, we which raked away and felt this should have been done by the hosts prior. The screen on the gazebo was did not zip up, and we could not figure out the lights in the gazebo either. Overall, we felt there was basic things that could improve for the price we paid however we did have a great time during our stay.
