Located at the Gateway to the Tasman Peninsula, Latitude 43 is a warm and cosy Celery Top Pine cottage set on a hill overlooking Eaglehawk Bay. Just a 1-hour drive from Hobart, this gorgeous home is set on a private 4 acre block and screams ocean side getaway. From the moment you enter this beautifully presented home, you won’t want to leave. With the bay and Pirates Bay Beach just at your doorstep, it’s the ideal location to base yourself to enjoy everything the area has to offer.

The cottage is extremely private and is set over 2 storeys. The lower level offers an open plan living area with a central double sided wood heater to keep you beautifully warm in winter. Snuggle on the couch with a glass of wine and your favourite book or immerse yourself in your favourite shows on the Smart TV.
The kitchen is a chef’s delight with all you require to cook up at storm, boasting quality appliances including a dishwasher and microwave. Also on the lower level you find a 2nd toilet and laundry which includes a washer and dryer.
You will love entertaining in the undercover outdoor alfresco area where you will find the bbq and bar. On a beautiful night you can light the firepot and enjoy this indoor/outdoor entertaining area.
The front porch is perfect to sit in the sun with a cold beverage or cuppa whilst planning your fun filled day ahead or chatting about your amazing experiences of the day. Listen to the orchestra of bird life and you may get a visit from our cheeky resident magpies and pacific gulls.
Upstairs features 2 bedrooms with super comfortable beds that you can sink into after an enjoyable day of sightseeing or bushwalking. The main bedroom has a king bed and the 2nd bedroom has a king bed and single bed. The king beds can be split into singles if required therefore offering 5 single beds. For the keen readers there is a bookshelf upstairs full of books on the local wildlife and fauna and so much more.
Stroll through the beautiful gardens and observe the natural flora and at night gather around the fire pit and enjoy a toasted marshmallow whilst experiencing the array of local visitors such as pademelons, quolls, bandicoots, rabbits and kangaroos. If you love wildlife, this is the place to be.
For the fishing fanatics the cottage is only a short drive to the Eaglehawk Jetty perfect for launching your boat or just dropping a line for some fish or squid off the jetty.
