This is a charming cottage with detail and character. It has the feel of an older home that has been made new. The high ceilings, hardwood floors, and wooden stairwell show its style and beauty, and yet it is very clean, bright, and welcoming. The kitchen has nice granite countertops and hardwood floors. The house is located off Maravista in a family-friendly area with children in the neighborhood. The beaches are very close by, just a short walk away, less than four blocks away. You can just barely see Martha's Vineyard from one of the upstairs bedrooms, but from the beaches, it seems so close it looks like you can reach out and touch it.
A little more on the area...: This house would be ideal for one large family or two smaller families to spend a vacation together. There is a lot to do in Falmouth, and there are also the islands and other parts of Cape Cod to explore. The Falmouth town beaches alone keep us busy for a long time. Biking is a great way to explore the area and can carry you quite far on the islands, around Falmouth, and Woods Hole, to candy stores, ice cream, beaches, and more. Personally, we find so much to do in Falmouth, Woods Hole, and Martha's Vineyard, we almost never drive to other parts of Cape Cod.
