Room was good, bed comfortable, all that was needed. Location excellent to all sites, I walked the entire time to all locations. Wear comfortable shoes, a lot of steps and steep walking. "First off, I am an American so I have that point of view. The hotel reminds me of old Hollywood. It is a classic with tons of history that is showing it's age. I liked it a lot, my wife not so much. It was clean and the staff was great. The bed was hard and we never did figure out the AC system. It is in the Muslim district which we hadn't anticipated, but was no problem and everyone treated great. It's noisy outside, but that is living in any city. These are difficult times in Israel and we pray for peace."

"The hotel has a panoramic view in terms of location. It is possible to reach the city center by walking, bus or taxi. The hotel staff are very nice, friendly and warm. Although the price is much higher than the surrounding hotels, even twice as much, the breakfast offered is very limited and very simple.
