Luxury Seaside Hideaway – Sauna & Sunset Views

This luxury villa in Eckerö sits directly on smooth granite rocks by the water, offering open sea views and unforgettable sunsets. Spend your days swimming, paddleboarding or exploring nearby coastal headlands, then cook dinner outdoors in the summer kitchen and enjoy long evenings by the sea.
This carefully designed bungalow-style villa offers bright and spacious interiors with ceilings up to 3.5 metres high. Nearly every room enjoys full or partial sea views, bringing the atmosphere of the archipelago into the entire house.
The third bedroom is located in a separate cozy guest cottage, offering additional privacy. The heart of the villa is the open living room and kitchen, creating a perfect space for relaxing, dining and spending time together. Large windows bring the sea views indoors and make the space especially light and airy. At the end of the day, unwind in the traditional Finnish wood-heated sauna and enjoy the fresh sea breeze. For sea lovers, guided fishing trips on the waters of Åland are also available, offering a chance to experience the archipelago like a local.
Guests have access to the entire villa except for a small walk-in closet and a few drawers where the owner’s personal belongings are stored. The villa is surrounded by a spacious and well-equipped terrace area offering plenty of room for relaxing, socialising and enjoying the sea views. In the outdoor summer kitchen you can prepare meals using the gas grill, charcoal grill or Muurikka, and the outdoor dining and lounge areas make long summer evenings especially enjoyable. The garden also offers fresh herbs and, depending on the season, strawberries, tomatoes and berries that guests are welcome to pick – perfect for summer kitchen grilling or a relaxed breakfast overlooking the sea. By the shoreline there is a separate seaside terrace where a comfortable seating area and a fire bowl create a cosy setting for evenings by the water. From here you have unobstructed sunset views over the Åland Sea – a place where the day often ends peacefully while watching the colours of the horizon fade into the sea.

I’m also happy to assist with planning your journey to Åland and finding your way to the house – including providing ready-to-use Google Maps directions to make arrival easy. I’m glad to share local tips about places to visit, scenic coastal walks, as well as good restaurants and grocery stores nearby. If you arrive with an electric car, charging is also available at the villa. I remain easily reachable both before and during your stay by phone or email and am always happy to help with any questions or requests.

The surrounding archipelago landscape provides wonderful opportunities for walks and exploring nature. A nearby rocky headland opens directly to the open sea, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful place to enjoy the scenery. Only a few neighbouring houses are nearby, making the area especially quiet and private, though we kindly ask guests to respect the neighbours’ tranquility.
On clear evenings this is also an excellent place for stargazing. With very little light pollution, almost no noise and minimal boat traffic, the archipelago nights can feel truly magical as the stars appear over the horizon.
