It was near the Edinburgh castle and restaurants. What we didn’t like is that we had booked the hotel over 8 months ago for 5 people and the night before someone reached out confirming for 4 people. One of us had to sleep on the couch. It wasn’t a sofa bed and there wasn’t a fold out bed. Very inconvenient and uncomfortable. There was also mold in the shower, very gross!

Great apartment in Old Town

Wonderful two-bedroom apartment! The location is in a popular part of town, but the unit itself is on a quiet side street. Easily walkable to shopping, restaurants, and attractions. Wonderful view of Edinburgh Castle from upstairs bedrooms. The host was friendly and responded promptly to our email questions. The full kitchen, plus washer and dryer, really made the apartment a great stay. The furnishings and paint could use some updating, but it didn't deter from our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location with a great view of the castle. Plenty of space in the apartment. Draw back would be all the stairs getting to the apartment. Very challenging getting our suitcases down multiple flights of stairs. Also finding the door to the apartment was difficult.

Check in was great, unit smelt Strongly of cigarette smoke. Shower was moldy. We ended up cleaning it before we used it. Bedding was sparse. Area was fantastic, safe and easy to walk everywhere. As the smoke smell was so bad we had to leave the windows and door open. As such the noise from the ally was very loud. If we had to give a review out of ten it would be 6 only due to the area!

We enjoyed our stay very much and the apt was in a great location. Shower needs a deep cleaning, but everything else was clean, comfortable and space felt very roomy.
