This property is a cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom flat at the foot of the stairs to Edinburgh Castle. The flat is only blocks from the main meeting area for walking tours and its near Waverly train terminal and many touristy restaurants and pubs. If you to visit during the 'Tattoo' season, plan for transportation to be challenging, especially during evenings due to the Castle stairs—performers enter the Tattoo through the stairs and guests can enter via the stairs after. The stairs are so close that you can almost touch and definitely to talk with performers and visitors as they pass by the three windows on the stairs side.

I'll start by saying we loved the location-very walkable to many Edinburgh sites & fun restaurants. It was cool to look out the dining room window & see Edinburgh Castle. The apartment itself needs some work, it's a little shabby. The beds are small & not very comfortable. The shower has great water pressure, but was missing a shower door so the whole bathroom got misty wet. The bathroom floor/shower grout is in bad shape too. The apt has nice light ..but I'd say the pictures are a little misleading. This is an old apartment, with aging IKEA furnishing that needs a little fixing up to match the images that are shown online.

Too many broken things in the house, none of the doors locked or closed properly. Its a very old property, it was definitely convenient but they can do so much improvement. Beds were so uncomfortable. Location was great
