Quiet room, breakfast basket was perfect, hot water and shower was 5 star, bed a little on the firm side but fine. Location in Linlithgow is perfect with easy access to trains to Edinburgh. Will use again.

Fantastic accommodation! From its perfect location for exploring the area to the exceptional cleanliness and attention to detail, everything exceeded expectations. The daily replenished breakfast basket was a lovely touch, and the building’s character—including the rooms—made the stay truly special (my 14-year-old daughter absolutely loved it!). Having a car park and easy access to frequent train services to Edinburgh, Stirling, and Falkirk added convenience and enhanced the overall experience. Highly recommended!

Fantastic stay. Brilliant location and gorgeous, extremely well equipped rooms. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! Honestly cannot fault our stay at all. From the breakfast basket/ items in the fridge, to mood lighting, mirrors with lights, big tv, huge comfy bed and everything else. It was a 10/10 all round. We can’t wait to stay again. Thank you :)

Clean and great base for getting out and about round Falkirk and Lothian. Stairs in room to bedroom area were a struggle but manageable, better for younger fitter folks I suspect. Hotel moved us to another room with no problems when shower flooded.

We stayed in one of the larger suits. It had a great little kitchen complete with breakfast items so you don’t have to rush out in the morning. Property was very quiet and central to all the things there are to see.

Great location in the heart of Linlithgow

Hotel location was perfectly located in the middle of downtown. A close walk to the palace and several restaurants and pubs. Room was a bit sterile. The bed was uncomfortable and temperature control was a bit of an issue. WI-FI signal was pretty weak. However, I would recommend this place as the location was great.

Affordable, comfortable and convenient!

Such cool history behind the hotel. We were able to leave the car on site for the day and take the train into Edinburgh, the Linlithgow Palace was right across the street! The room was plenty comfy, very clean and stocked well. The staff was extremely friendly, I would absolutely stay there again!

I liked having the kitchen area with a fridge, microwave and dishwasher. The free standing fan came in very handy as it was very hot when I visited. As a solo traveller I felt very safe and found it very quiet. Handy to have shops and restaurants nearby. Great to have free parking right at the front of the building.

Great conversion of the old Sheriff Courts

We really appreciated the thoughtful conversion of this former Sheriff Courts building into several high quality apartments. Right in the centre of Linlithgow across from the Palace, everything is on-hand and there’s convenient on-site parking too. Our Executive suite was a large bright room with high ceilings and all mod cons. The only disappointment was probably the ‘basket breakfast’ which we felt could have been a bit more inviting, given the room price. In the middle of July, when there’s so many fab summer fruits in season, apples and bananas were a bit dull. As was the standard loaf and little packets of cereal. I’ve stayed at B&Bs with more interesting offerings. A second niggle was the bed sheets that didn’t quite fit the beds. Odd and annoying when they constantly slip down during the night to reveal the mattress protector. I didn’t feel they were the best quality cotton for the price charged either.
