We didn’t think it was a Hotel when we pulled up to the curb, thought it was a brewery only. We were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed everything about this place from the friendly staff to the amazing atmosphere. Stay here and you will not be disappointed it’s truly remarkable.

Great for some, not all

This place is cool but - and maybe this is obvious - EXTREMELY beer-centric. If you’re super into beer, you’ll probably love it. If you aren’t, it’s still fine, just probably not ideal. Also, there’s no elevator from the ground floor.

Very accommodating staff. We got there early & they took our suitcases up & gave us a complimentary drink while we waited to be able to check in. Was surprised how quiet it was in the room. Had a nice lounge with coffee/water available 24/7. Didn’t really enjoy the breakfast but that was personal preference. Did get charged for breakfast one day even though it was supposed to be free bc they way undercooked my egg & I sent it back. Also you only get one coffee with the meal & are charged for the second. Would’ve been nice to of been told that but wasn’t that big of a deal. The staff was so nice & good at their jobs, we just kept that in mind the rest of the days. Would stay again.

Great staff, good food! I'm a lil older and thought the place would be off putting. Was way wrong. Booked for included breakfast which are proper meal choices. They will give you a couple free points along the way. Was there 9 nights total. Definitely recommend.

Fabulous stay

Great 4 night stay. Room is extremely spacious and has everything you could need for a break. It’s quirky and fits so well with the BrewDog theme. There’s also a large, comfortable communal area for guests. The breakfast was delicious! Staff are all friendly and professional. Fantastic location being so close to the station and many of the tourist attractions.

Such a unique, fun experience! We loved the Punk Room, excellent customer service including delivery of our bags upstairs, a private sitting area and upstairs patio! Great evening food and breakfast! Loved the beer cooler in the washroom, and guitar in the room. Highly recommended and will return.

We chose this hotel because we were traveling with our two teenagers. The welcome from the manager was spectacular, he took the time to show us the entire property. I 100% recommend this place — and the food is just perfect.

Hotel staff were super friendly and the room was great - very unique. I appreciated the welcome drink. The only issue I had was with the hot water when showering would routinely go from warm to very hot. This occurred numerous times during each shower over my 2-day stay. It’s better than a cold shower though.

The Brewhouse is a unique hotel that is in the perfect spot for the Royal Mile. The rooms are all different and fun. It has a great welcoming feel when you arrive. The atmosphere is come in and have a beer and stay a while. The food is great and the beer is better. So happy I took a chance on the Doghouse. Wish I was staying here longer.

Great location. The while place needs a sprucing up, though. Our suite needed to be painted, it just looked dingy and had scuff marks all over the place. Our bathroom shower area had black mold and bacteria all around the edges on all sides. It was so disgusting. The shower also never fully drained, so there was always a pool of water in the shower. If it hadn't been during high season, we would have found a different hotel. We paid for a deluxe experience and definitely didn't get it. I would never stay here again.
