The property is in a good location but the bed was a torture chamber and traffic noise was all night long. Light bulbs were burnt out and the remote for the TV had no batteries. Would not recommend this place.

Es war wirklich großartig, dass wir bereits früh morgens einchecken konnten und nicht bis 15 Uhr warten mussten. Die Kommunikation dahingehend war absolut reibungslos. Die Wohnung liegt auch direkt vor der Bushaltestelle Rodney Street (auch wenn die Bude nicht wirklich pünktlich sind ;) im Zweifel sollte man sich also nicht auf sie verlassen.) Die Fensterscheiben sind nur einfachverglast es kann also aufgrund der Straße durchaus etwas lauter werden, hat uns aber nicht gestört. Die Sauberkeit hätte etwas besser sein können, in einigen Schränken lag noch Altpapier und Plastikmüll, die Schubladen waren auch noch verstaubt, sowie verdorbene Lebensmittel in den Schränken in der Küche. Da sollte man evtl noch etwas darauf achten, auch die Oberflächen waren etwas klebrig. Da wir froh waren bereits früher in die Unterkunft einchecken zu können, waren diese Kleinigkeiten auch kein Problem. Es gab aber auch noch ein paar Kleinreparaturen die hätten vorgenommen werden können: Der Toilettenpapierhalter lag auf dem Fensterbrett, weil er nicht mehr an der Wand hielt und Teile der Verdunklungsvorhänge waren auch nicht mehr ordentlich befestigt. Wir haben beides behoben, weil es prinzipiell recht schnell ging und praktischerweise eine Leiter vorhanden war :D Nichts desto trotz, war es eine sehr gute Unterkunft für einen Städtetrip nach Edinburgh. Preis Leistung war angemessen. Auch die Entfernung ist optimal. In 25 min ist man zum Edinburgh Castle gelaufen :) Ich würde wieder buchen!
