We stayed here for one night to attend a funeral. It was a last minute booking although we are very familiar with the area. The rooms themselves were fabulous, everything that was needed. We stayed on a random Wednesday night in November but despite this it was quite loud overnight. The property left earplugs which was a lovely touch and the noise doesn’t bother us but worth noting. Super close to everything needed and felt safe. The biometric entry is fab and no time is wasted with reception procedures.

A reasonably convenient place within reasonable walking distance from dining areas and things like the Royal Mile, Calton Hill, Edinburgh Castle, and others. Room was clean and the unit was spacious, especially the living area. A 3rd rollaway bed was available for a 3rd traveler in the unit. Room had a fridge and kitchenette. However, there is no 24/7 front desk, and you enter using a keypad on the front door, then another digital lock in the room door. If you want certain things delivered prior to check-in (like a portable wifi by mail), it may not be possible because of this arrangement. So there is some inconvenience, but offset by the lower cost of this lodging in Edinburgh. All-in-all, we were satisfied with the arrangement, location, cleanliness, and responsiveness of the staff. Would consider to stay again in the future!

The suite was lovely. This is not the fault of the property but the area was very loud. Situated between 2 bars and a bus stop. Loud up until at least 3am the one night. Again not the fault of the hotel at all.

The property was located on Hanover St which was convenient. There were plenty of restaurants and cafes in the area. However, since our room was directly above a bar, there was a lot of noise at night. It is also close to Princes St and lots of public transportation. It is walkable to the Royal Mile and tourist attractions. The unit itself had high ceilings, but didn’t feel cozy. Kitchen was functional. Bathroom lacked hooks for hanging towels and clothes.

Noise from the pub below was very unpleasant. Main room is nice. The kitchen worked. The bed in the bedroom was short. Felt like a small double. It was 6 feet long exactly, not much use for someone taller than 6 feet, like me. Not much space to get to the other side of the bed. COuld not have fit 4 people comfortably as advertised. We had a bit of trouble with water in bathroom in morning. It shot out with air pockets and the kitchen water I ran for a while as it first came out a bit cloudy. The bar closed at 1am...so their quiet rule of 11pm is out the door and the people on the street outside the pub until after 11pm very were loud. Location very good Also...got back at 12 and got into the building but the door had reset. The cleaning person let us in and I texted the owner and they apologized and reset the code within 5 min on the text and the code was good.

Great apartment in the New Town neighborhood

The apartment was great and well-located. It is updated with a nice bathroom, kitchen and large living room. The communication leading up to the stay was also greatly appreciated.

Lovely apartment for tourists.

Lovely apartment with usable kitchen. Excellent location for tourists. Nice shower and thick towels. We found a loaf of VERY mouldy bread in the cupboard. Not enough toilet paper. The puĺ-out couch wasnt terribly comfortable although the main bed was.
