With spectacular views over the Firth of Forth, and an equally spectacular vista of The Pentland Hills from the front of the property, the holiday cottage is attached to Midkinleith Farm above Currie, 8kms from the centre of the city of Edinburgh. We have a twin bedroom, one large bathroom with shower, a second smaller bathroom, a lounge with sofa bed and a kitchen with all the facilities you would need. There is wi-fi and gas central heating, a large screen TV and box full of games. There is a large play barn with table tennis, snooker, darts and table football.
During your stay at this cottage, you'll be close to Edinburgh Zoo. Laundry facilities and an arcade/game room are available. A kitchen and 2 bathrooms are available in the cottage.

Beautiful Cottage Stay

My mom, 2 brothers and me stayed at this beautiful little cottage for 5 nights. It’s away from all the hustle and bustle and close to the Pentland Hills. The cottage has everything you need and Richard and Dawn were very helpful, making sure our stay was perfect! I’d 100% recommend this place if you’re after a quiet place, ready for a wind down holiday. It was easy enough to take Ubers to town, especially sharing costs with all 4, but it’s also reasonably close to public transport if you’re with a smaller group. I wouldn’t have changed a single thing of our stay and would happily stay again next time I’m in Edinburgh! Thank you Richard and Dawn!

our stay in Midkinleith Cottage

We have just had 4 days in Midkinleigh cottage. It's a great cottage very close to Edinburgh but also very quiet. we had a good helpful response from Richard on booking in. The cottage it's self is very nice, all the bits you need for your stay very clean with comfy beds. We will stay again. Brian
