This is a new hotel in a beautiful location. I was able to walk everywhere. Parking is not easy, so if you don’t need a car I would skip the rental. The hotel has a restaurant and bar. Food was good at the bar, I did not eat at the restaurant which is separate. Staff was incredibly friendly. The bartenders made good drink recommendations, and had quick service. The room was great. Lighting was a little weird in my opinion very soft lighting which made the room feel dark. The bath towels were huge and so cozy. I would definitely stay there again!

Love love love this hotel! It’s beautifully styled, super clean and cozy (I want to live in that duvet), with the most amazing staff. Everyone was absolutely lovely and always so helpful! Patatino (in house restaurant was delicious- get the gnocchi). Loved being so close to the tram, but also most places were very walkable. Thanks for making my trip so lovely!

The accommodations are spectacular - room was very comfortable. I did sort of expect a tv with some updated features like streaming however it wasn’t a dealbreaker. The restaurant was outstanding.

This was the perfect place to stay for two nights while I was exploring Edinburgh. It was conveniently located and there was plenty of things to see right around it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The accommodations were comfortable and everything felt safe and clean.

The lobby, bar and restaurant are beautiful. Ate in the restaurant for dinner. Food was good, waiter was outstanding. We were disappointed in the room, especially for the price. Nice room, but not for a traveler. I will say the bed was comfortable but definitely not the softest sheets. The bathroom had no hooks to hang anything- like a towel! The coffee 'bags' were awful. There wasn't a luggage rack. No Smart TV- odd for such a new hotel. Also, when we left our room, the hall had an odd fish smell and our room was near the garbage bins outside so we were serenaded by the sound of crashing bottles. One good thing- not near the Royal Mile- but lots of great public transport nearby.

Lovely new hotel - room very cold!

It’s a nice refurbed hotel, loved the lobby area where you can get food and work which is great as my room was small which I knew when booking. Service was great also. Had a bit of confusion at check in which ended up making me feel a bit awkward but I suppose mistakes happen and everyone else on reception was so friendly and nice. My issue was my room was freezing when I got in and it took quite a while for it to heat up with aircon so I had to leave in going to sleep and the woke up to really stuffy air and coughing. Shame they don’t just have normal heating - and maybe it was just this room.

Some observations for the management: 1. Bedroom had no bin in the room; 2. I was asked if there were any allergies at breakfast. Sugar is an accelerant for cancer, but you only offered jams. Could you offer Marmite or Vegemite as an alternative. 3. Not that I would have had it, but a Scottish hotel should have Marmalade. Loved the stay. Will be staying often in the future. JG

This is one incredible hotel too stay in when you visit Edinburgh, its a 3 min walk from Haymarket station. And the Castle, Royal mile and other areas are within walking distance. It’s very safe area. The staff are amazing and make your stay perfect! The rooms are beautiful. And the onsite restaurants are amazing too. I will definitely be staying again.
