Everything was okay but there’s an issue where the shower head doesn’t work so we had to scoop water from the tub to wash ourselves. Also house maid Indian girl with glasses who looks young was rude. It was clear we made a request to stay longer and it was approved but she still knocked on the door and unlocked it without our permission. I came to the door and told her hey we aren’t leaving yet. I thought the changes was communicated throughout the hotel but apparently not she rudely unlocked the door and the other time we were here we were supposed to leave Monday but she came at the door on Sunday banged on the door while we were sleeping and asked if we wanted room service.

The reviews were accurate. It's a very old property but the rooms have been updated somewhat. The bathroom is lovely. The rest of the room is run down but clean. Exactly what I expected. It's a good deal for the price! I havent tried the bed yet. Hopefully it's good!

We were a family of 5(a couple and 3 kids(all girls, ages from 7 to 14 yrs) that went on this trip to Edmonton. We stayed 2 nights... so I was looking for an hotel that has breakfast, fridge and microwave. Surprisingly, this hotel also has a little kitchenette(a stove and utensils), a gym and Sauna... so I booked a room with 2 Queen size beds. The staffs were extremely very friendly, ready to help and assist us.. breakfast was ok(bread, waffles, boiled eggs, muffins, orange and apple juice, coffee and cereal). I liked the location of hotel - very close to everything including Crumbl Cookies and Krispy Kreme Donuts and of course, the malls. Also, liked the rustic look on the wall on the 3rd floor we were...Cleanliness was ok. The size of the room and bathroom were ok. The beds were so comfortable, towels were really white and soft(I love white towels). The coffee machine in the room was really hot(I brewed the coffee and left it on for almost 2 hours and it was still very hot- I loved it)..The lighting in the room was very dull(need to be changed), the chairs (in the gym) were torn(could easily use a chair cover) but very sturdy.. Definitely, we will re-book this hotel on our next Edmonton trip..

Overrated!

I don’t understand how this hotel has a rating above 8. It’s old, rusty, and below average. The breakfast service was disappointing—tables weren’t cleaned, and the space was so cramped that moving around was difficult. Based on my experience with other hotels on Hotels.com, this one deserves a rating below 7. The ranking was definitely misleading this time.

Overall pleasant stay!

The hotel was clean, staff very friendly. Beds comfortable. Shower great. But furniture was very worn -holes in table chairs. Dresser propped up with piece of wood. Sitting area was comfy. Breakfast was good. Area was quiet. Great location to get to Jubilee auditorium and for shopping .

The Lynchian aesthetic of this hotel is unmatched (positive), but the "gym" had a treadmill with a loose, unsafe tread and the elliptical machine's settings didn't seem to work (negative).
