Good airport hotel

We stay at the hotel annually. It's a good solid hotel, but could use some maintenance. The hot tub in the pool area was malfunctioning and the AC in the room was loud. We like the convenience of the Montana's Restaurant and shuttle service.

I’ll start with the good - check in and out was quick and easy. The hotel and room was as advertised. Food and service at the restaurant was excellent. Staff was all friendly. The not so good - the room was very dated and there were stains on the bedding and the shower was not clean. The pool was absolutely filthy by the end of the day, every time we lifted our hands from the water there were long strands of hair intertwined in our fingers and the pool deck was visibly dirty. The water slide is really fast and with the turns we bashed our heads on the sides on the way down. We talked to several people after who all had the same thing happen to them - one guy said his kid was still in the room with an ice pack! We have been on tons of water slides and we did follow all the slide rules but I just feel like it’s a poor design and there should, at minimum, be warnings posted. The common areas could use more frequent cleanings, there were food chunks on the rugs in the hallways and garbage in the stairwells.

I have now stayed 4 times at this hotel, we fly in from Ontario to see my grandchildren. I stayed there last weekend., and again this weekend, thanks for your great hospitality, I haves stayed at other hotels, but since I have discovered the coast , that’s the only place I will stay now, it was lovely that the woman on the desk remembered me from last time , that is very comforting
