We were 11 adults between the ages of 40 and 90 staying for a family reunion. Lots of excitement as some family members hadn't seen each other in 20 years. Prior to booking, fabulous! Once they got payment, questions didn't get answered. I can live with that. "Spare mattress" was no where to be found. Even after asking, was told it was in the closet, yet it wasn't, then nothing.Essential supplies like body wash, shampoo/conditioner were insufficient. By the time they dropped off additional, we had already purchased our own. Again, nothing earth shattering. Inconvenient, yes. The 1 star review is because of all the other issues. Serious hazard that we encountered. Day 1 - kitchen sink started leaking, flooding the kitchen floor. Plumber arrived on Day 2, but could not resolve. One of the 2 dishwashers was also discovered to be clogged and inoperable. The sink continued to leak throughout our stay, forcing us to mop daily! Electricians were called for repeated circuit breaker failures. Breaker Panel was behind a locked door. My uncle is a retired engineer and witnessed loose wires at breakers, overloaded circuits, multiple outlets not functioning. Code violations rampant.House claimed to be sanitized. Hair in the drawers. Dirty clothes in one of the bedroom closets.One of the worst experiences I've had in the last 7 years of using vacation rental platforms. Watching my 80 year old aunt mopping floors daily was not the memory that we wanted.
