    The space was great. Three bedrooms upstairs, and 2 queen beds downstairs were great for our group of 7. There is missed potential by having no furniture in the main room in the basement. As it was very hot, we would have loved to hang out in the basement instead of upstairs. Only 4 chairs at the kitchen table is ineffective for a rental that can sleep 10 people. And the bedroom door in the basement had a lock on the outside, with no door knob. this wasn't an issue for my group, but could be for some.When we arrived, I could find no large plates at all. We also only found 1 bath towel per bathroom. After searching all the closets, I checked the dryer and found a load in there, with bedding and towels. So we needed to fold our own and get them to the correct bathrooms for our group. When we went to load our used dishes in the dishwasher, we discovered dirty dishes in there (the missing large plates included). We also found that there was no dishwasher detergent, despite starting the dishwasher being on the check-out list. There was only 1 tea towel (in the dryer) and no dish cloths available. Only 1 face cloth to be found anywhere.This could be a great rental, with a bit more attention to the cleaning and stocking, and adding a bit of furniture. Price was reasonable and neighbourhood felt safe.

    We showed up and there were holes in the walls, dishes were put away dirty, the mattresses were not the cleanest either. Remotes didn’t have backings or batteries, the garage had a lot of garbage in it. The lawn hadn’t been mowed in quite a while. We couldn’t find anything to properly clean anything we did find that was dirty either. The host was nice enough to let us into the property early and responded promptly when we did have questions, but overall the property needs a bit more work for the price that it’s set at.
