Hotel is great, but keep in mind it is beside the train tracks so if you are a light sleeper you will be woken up three or four times in the night

Everything was very nice. Lots of parking. The staff very friendly. The room was very comfortable. I did not have to adjust the thermostat in the room when we arrived, very nice. Bathroom has properly sized toiletries(Locked in, not souvenirs)a big plus. Important when travelling. The following did not affect my stay. I should have mentioned this on checkout. The room has what looks like a seam crack in the ceiling. The wallpaper has a little rippling behind the TV. The bed skirt had some marks. Sofa has a stain which is actually quite hard to see on cushion. The following DID affect my stay :) Pool was awesome, and the slide and hot tub were opened. Request to have more pool towels was impressively fast. The fitness room was clean. Breakfast was good. Not a fan of sausage. Suggest bacon / sausage. I believe the photos on the internet fairly represented the Holiday Inn Express. That is important. Earlier this week we did stay at a different accommodation and the pictures online were definitely out of date. What I appreciate most of all. I think I got a good thing for my buck and time at the Holiday Inn Express. Thank you

A super convenient location when flying to/from Edmonton Int’l Airport. They offer a free shuttle to and from with a wonderful driver! You can leave your vehicle in their parking lot for $9/day while you are away which is a little steep. The rooms are standard. The bathrooms are TINY!!!! The pool/waterslide and hot tub is great. The free included hot & cold breakfast is awesome and the lady taking care of it is soooo nice! Always cleaning and caring for the area. There’s no restaurant/bar in that hotel but there’s one next door and you get a discount on food there.

The staff here were amazing. We initially had a room right by the elevator but preferred a quieter spot, so they happily moved us to the top floor at the corner of the building to make sure we didn’t have any disturbances. Also I messaged ahead of time to be sure they would have breakfast options for me (celiac) and they had the best bread I’ve ever had, as well as a couple other options which was so nice as I’ve stayed at other hotels with breakfast included that had nothing safe for me to eat at breakfast. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we’ll come again next time we visit Edmonton.

It's close to the airport and shopping areas. On the negative side, there is a train track very close to the hotel, so you may hear the train when passing.
