No parking if hotel is full

Hotel itself is fine, but there was no where to park every night I got back from my competition. If they know they are full they need to figure something out it was ridiculous.

The property was a clean, but seemed a bit rundown for something that seemed a bit newer. The other problem I had was that the details of the hotel stated sound proofed rooms. However there was a hockey tournament, ringette tournament and gymnastics. Kids running up and down halls and when you try to get your child and you to bed early to be up at 5am for a competition yourself. There was no rest. It was disappointing to call down and explain to front desk to be told with exhaustion and what seemed like frustration that there was no rooms to move us to and that all they could say was we will talk to others to get them to be quiet. I understand that the hotel isn’t specifically responsible for the other guest in whole. But when I am paying for a room based on the words sound proofed rooms… it seems like me being frustrated with the excessive noise should be met with understanding and trying to find a solution without making the guests feel like it’s their fault for being bothered.

Had to go to the front desk 3 times to have keys re-programmed to get in room finally maintenance came to fix. Room had garbage in a few places steamy mirrors hair in shower, dirty bathroom floor not the cleanest. Then when we came back to hotel in evening there was not a single parking spot to be found. Had to park on private parking property informed front desk she didn’t know what to even say. So I said I get a ticket and the hotel gets it. And I walked away. I’ve seen other complaints on this issue they should make an agreement with property beside as long as vehicles gone before opened hours so there is a better response for zero parking situations. Pretty stupid to not have enough spots for guests.

Family weekend stay

Went for two nights as a family. Was a nice stay. It was insanely busy though, really couldnt even go to the pool. No gluten free options at breakfast but if you have no dietary restrictions there was a lot. Clean rooms. Good location. Really no complaints.

Hotel unprepared for busy family day weekend

Horrible two night stay. Booked a room with two beds and pull out sofa when I arrived they had given my room away and stated I could have a room with two queen beds or a room with a king bed and pullout sofa. Staff said there is no guarantee I’d get the room I booked through hotels.com I stated I wanted a refund as the room I booked was more expensive than the room they were offering. They said no I would have to call hotels.com for refund. Got up to my room to find they had given us,family of three one towel to use. Phoned downstairs they said the hotel was busy they had no more towels. Next day I asked for towels I was told to reuse the one I had then offered three hand towels. Parking was inadequate as people had to park down the block or along the road.
