In Edm for the Friday Morgan Wallen show and thankful to have found a reasonably priced hotel as anything in Edmonton was ridiculously priced. Very friendly staff checked us in; comfy bed; room was quiet and clean (aside from a shower curtain that should be replaced because it’s got that sour mildew like smell that lingers).

Never in my life have i felt the need to write a negative review but after my stay at the Ramada by Wyndham (501 11th ave Nisku, AB) i felt i have no choice. My room was 90$, was not expecting 5 star quality but i did expect basic cleanliness, proper hot water, and proper heat. none of which was provided. the hotel has a disgusting smell, one side of the hall smells like curry, the other side smells like wet dog. The couch and entryway stool were covered in disgusting stains, the dining table light did not work, the outlet behind our bed had no cover and was completely exposed, not to mention the fire alarm system isnt working in the building as they have a sign stating its under maintenance that looks like its been there for ages. to our surprise the room came with a hot tub, which we couldnt use due to hair coming out of the drains and what looked to be like semen on the shampoo and conditioner packets we were provided, stains on the side of the hot tub, we found hair on the bed, we found pubic hair on the side of the bath tub, not to mention our water went cold halfway through our shower. then the heat would randomly decide to work, and make a super loud banging noise everytime you change the temperature. seriously would not recommend to ANYONE. avoid this place at all costs. The restaurant says “10% off for hotel guests” but they fail to mention that you must be sitting inside the horrible smelling restaurant to receive the discount. DO NOT GO HERE.

Front desk was rude. All doors for the exception of the front are locked up. No key card access. Had to park at the very back of the building with poorly lit conditions, had to negotiate a gang of east indians getting drunk in the parking lot. Beer cans thrown all over garbage everywhere. Once i made the long journey to the front all i got to listen too was people yelling and screaming somewhere in the hotel. This place was disgusting and unsafe!

If I could give this property zero stars, I would, I didn’t know paying for an early check-in with me in the room was not clean, random charges to my account, and unfriendly and under trained staff, housekeeping came in folded the toilet paper and left. We had no clean towels no nothing and I was told that the manager would be calling me and of course no call. Would never stay here again

We booked here through expedia for two rooms and had everything confirmed. When arriving for check in the front desk lady was very hostile and rude insisting we only had one room and it wasnt her problem. She was incredibly unprofessional manager named Pam Chopra. She was hostile as we have video proof. Once i arrived to show my proof on expedia she was still very hostile and loud and yelled multiple times. I had to use deescalation tactics to get her to calm down as i didnt do anything wrong. She insisted that expedia is tbe one that was wrong but inssited on raising her voice and continuousely making comments. Wr arrived in our room and jt was disgusting. There were dirty green marks on the bed. One of our beds had long black hair on it. But if we complained the front desk lady said she will kick us out and call the rcmp. My mom is medical and we came from out of town to meet family and attend a concert. We couldnt afford to be kicked out during the busiest time in edmonton? So we had to sleep in a dirty room. Then there was a bag over our fire alarm (extreme hazard). Our room stunk like rotten stuff the entire time we had to get spray. Horrible experience and even worse customer service. Including the restaurant. They need to be inspected by BBB and health inspector.
