The mini casino is not to my liking they attract unsavory characters. They didn't have the nuthouse people that you find the government housing at other super 8s.

The room assigned to us were not properly prepared for us as next guest that we need to went back to front desk to complain and transfer to another room. Front desk was a trainee and don't offer promotional discount since we added extra room. Breakfast was not that expected.

Hotel service was great. Front desk staff were kind and answered all my questions kindly. Room was clean, but the smell in the morning of truck exhaust was unreal. I had to repeatedly spray body spray in my room to help with the smell. Not the trucks fault, but the hotel should think of a better air system so that doesn’t come into the room. I was on the third floor……on other side of building from parking lot.

I’m pleasantly surprised! 10/10 near instant check in process being about 5 minutes with the female clerk. Friendly efficient and clear instructions to your room. The room was impeccable- I’m truly impressed as a first timer here. Super big king bed firm and the room sheets towels smell excellent fresh and maintained. This was a 10/10 experience and I’ll definitely consider coming back if I need to stay in Edmonton again.
