The perfect vacation home for your Door County getaway. Located just off of scenic Bay Shore Drive, your Door County vacation home is located just one block from the water and nestled on five acres of pristine birch, oak, and pine woods. This warm, quiet, welcoming Lautenbach-built log home is ideally located just a few miles south of beautiful Egg Harbor.

With three levels of living for your group, the open-concept main floor features a double-sided fieldstone fireplace, dining room with seating for up to eight, living room, fully-equipped kitchen, full bathroom, and two bedrooms with queen-size beds.

The second-floor loft features a spacious master suite with king-size bed, sitting area with flat-screen TV, and ensuite bathroom.

The lower level features an inviting and cozy family room with a wood-burning stove, flat-screen TV, a bedroom with two twin beds, and separate room with a washer and dryer.

The home features a wrap-around deck with ample seating for relaxing and dining, an outdoor fire-pit with plenty of wood to roast your marshmallows.

We provide all bed linens, bath towels, and a fully-equipped kitchen, gas grill, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, high-speed fiber Internet.

Egg Harbor is located on the western shores of the Door County peninsula - a perfect location to enjoy breathtaking sunsets, award-winning performing arts, numerous golf courses, fine and casual dining, wineries and craft-breweries, boutique shops, coffee shops, and grocery store.

Located less than 5 miles from the cabin, Egg Harbor's beautiful sandy beach is perfect for kayaking, paddle-boarding, and swimming. There are three boat ramps within six miles of the cabin: George Pinney County Park, Murphy Park, and Egg Harbor Marina.

Scenic Bay Shore Drive connects Sturgeon Bay to Egg Harbor and features a smooth, paved road that is a designated bike route. Bay Shore Drive also offers easy-access to the many quaint towns (Sister Bay, Ephraim, Fish Creek, Gills Rock, Ellison Bay, Bailey’s Harbor) that make Door County the perfect vacation destination.

Door County features nearly 300 miles of shoreline, five state parks, ample opportunities for fishing, hiking, swimming, shopping, entertainment, dining, or just relaxing.

FAMILY REUNION

Very much enjoyed our stay. Beautiful Cabin & well stocked in every aspect for guests. Enjoyed the wood fireplace ( plenty of wood supply ). Beautiful deep mature woods - excellent spacing between properties. Very quiet - will definitely recommend. Half bath ( toilet / shower ) in basement would be nice.

Family time in DC

Property was even better than shown in the pictures. Lots of room to spread out, space for family meals, living space on the lower level was nice for the toddler to spread out with his toys. The whole home, especially the kitchen, was stocked with all the necessities and even extras, by far the best equipped rental we've ever experienced! The fire pit was nice and the setting, was beautiful. The road on which the home was located was even a nice 'walk in the woods', with almost no traffic. Highly recommend!

Girls Weekend Getaway

We loved the property and the house was beautiful! The location is a little far from the bigger towns but only a 25 minute drive. Very peaceful in the woods and close to the town of Egg Harbor. Would recommend for families or a group of friends!

Beautiful cabin in the perfect location!

Great stay in the woods

We had a wonderful time, the location was perfect and the cabin was clean and comfortable for 7 adults. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space and quiet neighborhood. We’d certainly recommend this for your next Door County trip.

Cozy and comfortable

We really enjoyed staying at this roomy property. The owners have really put effort into adding extras like coffee, Sirius radio, paper towels, soap, firewood. Other than food, we didn’t need to bring anything extra. It’s a short drive to Egg Harbor for shopping. It is remote and in the woods but it felt very safe. Highly recommend.

What a Pleasant Surprise

Amazing property

Overall our stay was great. Amazing cabin! Wooded area, grills, fire pit, well equipped, spacious. Decorated with love. The only thing that could be better is cleaning, we found a few spots with dust and spider web. Also, headboard in loft bedroom was old and rusty.

We had a wonderful stay in this quaint log cabin in the woods. It was so relaxing to read on the deck while listening to the birds or watch hummingbirds at the feeder. Campfires at night were fun. Quiet family time

Enjoyed the wooded lot and quiet of the neighborhood. Loft bedroom was wonderful. Basement was a little musty and plumbing noises did make sleeping in that room a bit more challenging. The hosts were responsive and very kind people.

Great Cabin

Everything was flawless with this rental. It exceeded expectations. The beds were all very comfortable, the living spaces were large and homey, and the grounds were perfect. The owners really have thought of everything, and made a lovely rental. I look forward to renting again in the future. It was difficult to leave such a great place.

Pumpkin Patch Weekend 2021

The house is gorgeous. Plenty of room for the 6 people in our group. The kitchen was fully stocked. The beds were very comfortable. There was a more than an ample supply of firewood. I loved waking up in the morning and having coffee on the deck and enjoying nature. I would highly recommend this cabin.

Super cozy cabin getaway

We were in town for our annual girls weekend and this cabin was the perfect home base. It was centrally located - no more than 20-30 min drive from any of our planned activities (and most within 15 min). We had lazy mornings and cozy evenings by the fire. The kitchen is fully stocked and the whole place was very clean. Would definitely stay here again!

A Door County MUST stay

One of the most well-equipped properties we've booked with VRBO. This trip was our family vacation with our married adults; the home is a perfect set up for couples with plenty of space to spread out. We enjoyed the fire pit every night but loved the property felt you were miles away from civilization. It was very quiet with no traffic. We loved seeing the deer everyday & being close enough to the highway 42 that connects you to everywhere you want to go. We would book this property again!
