Welcoming staff, hotel is well kept- clean and up to date. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Convenient to shopping and restaurants in Egg Harbor. Although the pool was not used during this stay, but has been in the past- it’s clean and water temperature is comfortable.

We had a really enjoyable stay at the Newport Resort. I loved the full kitchen in our room so that I could do my own cooking during my stay. The on-site laundry facilities were easy to use. I loved the fireplace in our room. The pool and hot tub were heated. My only complaint is that the gym does not open until 8 AM.

We have stayed at the Newport Resort many times. It is very clean and comfortable. The amenities are great for families! They have indoor and outdoor pool and indoor and outdoor play areas for kids. We always rent a two bedroom and it has everything we need. A small but well equipt kitchen. We typically cook breakfast and eat for for lunch and dinner. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I hgihly recommend this resort especially for families.

Room was great! Went there for a nice relaxing long weekend. Couldn’t wait to go in the hot tub. Unfortunately from 8am til 10pm whenever we went to the hot tub it was filled with kids and floatees!!! Was able to use 1 time. I was up every morning and even at 8am there were families with kids in the hot tub with floatees! Not trying to be that old guy but it is ridiculous that it was like that. On top of it ….from Thursday till Sunday morning when we left , from about 630am til around 1030pm all we could hear was running jumping and stomping on the floor above us. We were in room 109 last name was Day And I believe we were in the north wing so I’m assuming the room above us was 209. So unfortunately, the floors are so thin that you can hear everybody walking, but this was out of control. At one point, we did say something to the front desk about the hot tub and they just laughed. We get that kids will be there and it is their vacation, but we also are on vacation and could not enjoy it. Also I understand that parents are horrible these days and let their children run wild, but then the resorts have to step up and uphold certain rules so that all parties can enjoy. We come up at least once a year, but will be looking elsewhere for the future. Thanks for listening

Wonderful spot. The Suite was clean and spacious. The bed was comfy and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful! It was cold and windy outside so the 24/7 hot chocolate and coffee were much appreciated!
