Positiv Stadtnah Ansonsten keine Positiven Punkte

Hotel gegenüber vom Flughafen. Lärm ohne Ende. Zimmer viel zu klein. Wir waren zu dritt und man konnte sich garnicht im Zimmer bewegen. Schwimmen im Pool nur abends möglich, da überfüllt am Tag. Late Check Out kostet über 60,00 Euro. Personal total überfordert und schlecht drauf. Hotelzimmer wird um 8.00 Uhr geputzt. Wer länger schlafen will wird trotzdem geweckt. Rezeption ist ein langer Esstisch. Vollkommen unpersönlich. So ein schlechtes Hotel. Keine Weiterempfehlung.Nehmen Sie ein besseres für diesen hohen Preis.

Bloß nicht das weltbeste Hotel-Frühstück verpassen

Eilat ist kein ganz günstiges Pflaster für Hotels: eben jene direkt an der Landebahn des Stadtflughafens, der vermutlich im Jahr 2018 stillgelegt werden wird, wo man bei offenen Fenster alle paar Stunden ein wenig Kerosin riechen kann, sind deutlich günstiger. Im Fall des Soleil Boutique Hotels habe ich die Wahl aber nicht bereut: die Einrichtung ist sehr hübsch im retro-Stil gehalten, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zur Strandpromenade sind es nur wenige Meter. Der Pool ist klein, aber zweckdienlich, ersetzt aber keinen Strandbesuch. Der eigentliche Clou ist jedoch das Frühstück, auf das ich sogar bei der Passkontrolle am Flughafen vom Zollpersonal angesprochen wurde. Es ist wahrlich auch im Vergleich mit diversen Hotel der 5*-Kategorie das leckerste und üppigste Frühstück, das ich je genießen durfte. Ob israelisch-arabisch mit Shakshuka und Taboulé usw oder aber amerikanisch-europäisch mit Eierspreisen oder Pancakes - alles gibt es à la carte gratis zu ordern, sofern man eine Zimmerkategorie mit Frühstück gebucht hat. Daher mein Ratschlag: unbedingt dieses Hotel buchen, um sich einmal ganz vorzüglich den Bauch vollzuschlagen.
