Holiday apartment in a quiet villa district of Eisenach – dog-friendly

Holiday apartment in a listed half-timbered house in Eisenach’s Südviertel – quietly located between the historic town center and the Thuringian Forest

Holiday apartment in a listed half-timbered house with charming light blue beams and white infill panels, located in Eisenach’s Südviertel – quiet, central, and ideally situated between the historic town center and the Thuringian Forest. Perfect for 1–2 guests.

Enjoy a peaceful stay in a historic half-timbered house while having everything within walking distance: The holiday apartment “Blaue Blume” is located in one of the most beautiful residential areas of Eisenach – one of the largest connected villa districts in Germany. Here, unique architecture, history, and a relaxed atmosphere come together.

This is not a standard holiday apartment, but a place with character and history.

The apartment was originally the gymnasium of a girls’ boarding school built in 1914. Over the decades, it was used for various purposes before being carefully and thoughtfully transformed into a stylish holiday home.

The apartment is spread over two levels:
On the lower level, you will find a bright and open living area with a ceiling height of 4.8 meters and views into the garden, a dining area, a small fitted kitchen, and a separate guest WC. A narrow spiral staircase leads to the mezzanine level with a sleeping area (one large bed 1.80 x 2.00 m) and a small bathroom with shower – compact, cozy, and full of charm.

A small library with books about Eisenach and Thuringia, as well as novels and crime stories, invites you to relax.

The apartment has its own private entrance. Right outside, you’ll find a small herb garden, and the main garden offers quiet seating areas – perfect for relaxing moments outdoors.

Eisenach – culture and nature

Eisenach is one of Germany’s most important cultural cities. It is the birthplace of Johann Sebastian Bach and Ernst Abbe. High above the town sits Wartburg Castle (UNESCO World Heritage Site), where Martin Luther worked and which played a significant role in European history.

Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.
