Disappointing stay

Cons: Please see comments above.
We stayed on a Saturday evening in the middle of August. The restaurant area on the ground floor was very noisy until past 1.00am. We kept the windows shut to try to minimise the noise despite the bed room being very hot. As a consequence we had a bad night's sleep. The bathroom had a rather nasty odour, which smelt like poor drains, and the soap dispenser by the bathroom sink was empty , meaning that we had to go into the shower area to find soap from its dispenser. The breakfast was average given the cost of the room. Staff were efficient but were not very friendly or welcoming. All in all a rather disappointing. We would not stay again.
