Holiday home on the outskirts of El Gastor, province of Cadiz, Andalucia.

Nestled in the hills of the Sierra de Cádiz and surrounded by lush vegetation, this holiday villa provides a picturesque destination to escape the hustle and bustle of the daily life, and recharge one's batteries surrounded by nothing but quietness.

In this house, you will wake up to the birds singing and the first sun rays seeping through the window blinds of the three, brick-decorated bedrooms. All three of them are equipped with comfortable wooden beds: one double bed is located in two bedrooms, whereas the villa's third bedroom welcomes two twin beds. The fully equipped independent kitchen features all the equipment and tools to let you prepare your breakfasts and other meals, to be enjoyed either in the kitchen, in the dining-living room or the splendid areas for "al fresco" dining of the porch and the pool area.

The living room also features comfortable sofas and armchairs, whose location in front of the fireplace lets the whole family have a relaxing siesta whenever needed. A bathroom with a shower and one with bathtub complete the villa's indoor facilities.

Warm/cool air-con is provided in the bedrooms and living room.

The fabulous outdoor area provides several corners to enjoy the sunshine and the clean air of the Sierra de Cádiz, as well as the views of the surrounding mountains. Olive trees are spread all over the garden, where you will find many seating areas to rejoice in the quietness of the place. Of course, when you feel like refreshing, head to the fenced pool area and dive into the private swimming pool. Then, lay on the sun loungers and have a drink at the outdoor dining table. All the comforts and outdoor facilities help you unwind and truly soak up the comforting warmth of the sunshine and the pure air of the Sierra.

It's make your own beds.....

We were there for 12 nights. Absolutley loved this property. The views were stunning. The pool amazing (I swam 3km when there) but...... 1) had to make up own beds when we arrived and change them after one week although a welcome note said we'd have them changed for us plus a cleaner coming in after a week. 2) there is no safety information ie nearest doctor, hospital, fire blanket etc, etc. Did find a fire extinguisher hidden behind a chair in last day, however. 3) There is no other info except for the local mercado and artisan shops. 4) We had to ask for a number of missing kitchen items but they did respond very quickly. Would we recommend it to friends ... yes but with lots of warnings.

Lovely home and property

We picked this property because of its location as we were interested in visiting the many Pueblos Blancos in this region. The home was comfortable and the property and its views were amazing. Our host was readily available via WhatsApp and we easily communicated this way using Google translator. Jose, Mari’s brother-in-law, was very helpful as well. We had a wonderful 10 day stay at this property and would not hesitate to recommend it to other travellers looking for a quiet rural vacation stay.
